BOOK has of late appeared in theWorld, intitled, The New Testa ment in Greek and English ; con-taining the original Text correctedfrom the Authority of the most au-
thentick Manuscripts, and a New Version form’dagreeably to the Illustrations of the most learnedCommentators and Criticks, with Notes and vari-ous Readings, and a copious alphabetical Index.
An Attempt of this Kind, without a Name,and in the present unhappy Situation of our Re-ligious Affairs, stirred up my Curiosity to fee andmake a careful Enquiry into it. Having there-fore, in the Course of a particular Examination,noted many Things in it, worthy of Observation,I here offer them to the Publick.
