The new Text leaves out A which Mills af-firms, Prol. 1200, to have been added for Emphasisfake. But how if the Alexandrian and Colber-tin MSS. as also the Vulgar Arabick and Æthi-opick Versions omitted it as a superfluous Parti-cle : This very oft happened, and consideringthat all other MSS. Versions, (fe. retain itis the more probable Supposition of the two.Besides % here is explanatory, and therefore notto be spared. Us has given him Power, saysour Lord, even that of judging., because he isthe Son of Man,, i. e. the Person designed underthat Name, Dan. vii. 13, 14. to whom the Pro-ffhet in a Vision saw the antient of Days givePower.
