I. Matt. xvii. 21. Such a Distemper is not to be-removedbut by ‘Prayer and Fasting.

O U R Lord spake here no' of a Distemper,but a ‘Devils as is plain from Ver. i 3 , 19.The Greek also is «jc cHnopivs -mi , which isfrequently used of ejecting Devils, but never ofDistempers that are healed. See the new Ver^lion of Mar. ix. 29.

IT. Mar. vii. 9. You are in the Right to abolishthe Laivs of God , &c.
