For this general Assertion, he refers usto a Note of his own on Heb. i. 9. where he tellsus, that some look on the Citations in that Chapterfrom the Psalms , to be mere Accommodations orAllusions. Now what is this, if true, to Citationsfrom the Old Testament in general? But indeedthis is not true even of those particular Cirations.Those Passages in the Psalms are applied to Christ ,because he was meant therein, not by way of mereAllusion.
