H Aving made choice of Tuch Notes as youthink fit for your Point, Prick them downin that Part which you defign to begin theFuge.

That done, confider which Part you will haveto follow next; and whether in a 4 tb. or 5 th.above or below the Leading Part. Perhaps thelatter end of the Fuge-Notes which you havePrickt down, may agree therewith. If nor, youmay add fuch other Notes as may aptly meetthe following Part at its comeing in.

. Next, prick down the Fuge-Notes of thatfollowing Part 5 and add what other Notes maybe requifite for meeting of the third Part, which(properly ) will come in upon the OSave to thebeginning of the leading Part.

Then carry on the third Part, by adding fuchNotes as may meet the beginning of the fourthPart, as it comes in upon an OBave to the be-ginning of the fecond Part. And, if you rightlyconceive my words and meaning, yourSchemewill appear like this which follows, accordingto the firft Platform of our firft Exampe of afingle Fuge.
