Having fet down yourbeginning Notes, your next bufineß is, to fiiJ upthat vacant fpace in the lecond Bar, with whatDefcant you pleafe; which tmy be done in themanner.

Now,feeing that thisfollowing Part mcß al-fo fing the fame Notesin a 5 ’tb. above 5 it ne-ceffarily foliows, thatyou muß transfer thef _ faid new Notes, to the

upper Part 5 and apply new Defcant to Themalfo : and in this manner you are to proceedfrom Bir to Bar ; ftill applying new Defcant tothe laft removed Notes.

In this manner you may continue Two Partsin One, to what lengthyou pleafe. A (hört Ex-ampie may fufficeto let you fee the way of it:
