The Aisle-arcade is often very elegant; the archesare usually foliated, and covered with a straight-sidedcanopy. Occasionally this arcade consists of a series ofbeautiful panels containing geometrical tracery, withmouldings of a very minute and elegant character.

Both the centre and side-aisles are generally coveredwith Vaulting of simple form, having characteristicbosses' and rib-mouldings.
