(hexacornis , Rich.), ( Oncocottus quadri-cornis, Gill), according to Sabine and Richardson an inhabitant of ArcticAmerica, has never been sent from the Danish Settlements in Greenland . Petersdetermined a Cottus from the East Coast of Greenland as C. hexacornis, Rich.,but is inclined to regard it as identical with C. scorpius, Fab. (Zte deutscheNordpolarfahrt, II., p. 169).
