L’auteur commence par montrer comment les élé-ments du Soleil, de la Lune et des planètes peuventêtre déduits de l’observation. Il traite des diamètres descorps célestes, des différentes espèces de temps, du calculdu lieu des planètes, des éclipses, de la précession et dela réfraction.
