Cet ouvrage renferme un calendrier perpétuel, dontl’usage est devenu classique. On y trouve, en outre, unetable des éclipses de l’an 1 à l’an 1900, calculée parN. L.de La Caille pour la première édition, revue etcorrigée par 4. G. Pingré pour la seconde édition (1770),et continuée jusqu’à l’an 2000 par C. Duvaucel dans latroisième (voir tome 1,1783, p. 86). Pour les éclipses deSoleil, on n’a tenu compte, dans cette table, que decelles visibles dans l’hémisphère boréal.
