Being particularly anxious that his Majestys Ships in searchof the Squadron should be immediately informed where it isgone to, I am to desire you will most strictly keep HisMajestys Ship Juno on Rendezvous No. 97, about ten leaguesdue South of Cape St. Sebastians; and I am to desire inaddition to my Memorandum of the 28th ultimo, that youacquaint the Captains of his Majestys Ships named in themargin 1 (who I understand are together) that it is my directionsthey proceed off Toulon in company, for the purpose men-tioned in the said Memorandum , in their way to join me. You are hereby required and directed to proceed im-mediately with his Majestys Ship Narcissus, under yourcommand, off Cape Corse, and cruize very diligently betweenthat and Tort Especia, for the purpose of obtaining informa-tion of the Enemys movements and expeditions fitting out atLeghorn and Genoa , and also, of their Elect at Toulon , shouldit put to sea.
