purpose, with an account of all the disbursements; and shall alsoreport such other information to the meeting as shall be thoughtuseful; which report, or a copy thereof, shall be, by the clerk ofthe district, delivered to the township clerk within five daysthereafter.
10. Sect. XI. That it shall be the duty of every teacher,hereafter employed to teach a common district school, to enterin a book to be provided by the district clerk, the names of allthe children attending school, their ages, the date when theycommence, the length of time they continue, and keep a tableshowing the daily attendance; (a) which book shall, at all times,be open to the inspection of all persons interested, and be deliv-ered over by the teacher to the district clerk, at the expirationof the term of the school; and the teacher shall, as often as oncein three months, make an abstract of said record, showing thewhole number of pupils enroled, and the average daily attend-ance, distinguishing the number of males and females, and depositthe same with the clerk of the district; and it shall be unlawfulto pay any teacher more than two thirds the amount due for anyterm of tuition, until said abstract shall be placed in the hands ofthe district clerk, as aforesaid,
11. Sect. XII. That the township treasurer, in each town-ship, shall be treasurer of all the school funds of the township,arising from lands, fines, interest, taxes or state distributions,under the regulations hereinafter provided; and, on his election,before he shall enter upon the duties of his office, he shall givebond, with sufficient security, payable to the state of Ohio, to beapproved by the township trustees of the respective township,for the faithful disbursement, according to law, of all such fundsas shall from time to time come into his hands; and, on the for-feiture of said bond, it shall be the duty of the township clerk toprosecute and collect the same for the use of the township.
12. Sect. XIII. That all money arising from ground rentsfor school purposes, shall be paid over to the treasurer of thecivil township, and he shall apportion the same, with all fines andother school funds in his hands, (except what he shall receivefrom the county treasury, which shall be paid out according tothe apportionment of the auditor,) among the several districts, inthe same proportion that the apportionment shall be made bythe county auditor; and he shall pay out the money belonging toeach district, to the teacher or teachers thereof, upon the orderof the directors, or any two of them, the district clerk being oneof the two: provided, that he shall in no case pay money to anyteacher, who shall not, at the time of presenting his order there-for, present a certificate of qualification and moral character, asprovided in the twenty eighth section of this act; which certifi-cate shall have been.issued, and bear date, previous to the com-mencement of the term for which he claims pay.
13. Sect. XIV. That any alteration or new district, here-after formed out of one or more original district or districts, shall
