In pursuance of the Order from his Excell. Col. Benj Fletcher, Capt. Gen 11 & Govern 1- in Chiefdated the 3 rd day of May 1697, to make a perfect reckoning of the Inhabitants of the C..y & Countyof Albany and how many families and particular persons in the said Citty and County are departedfrom the beginning of y e Warr, how many persons killed & carried away, & of what number - « FiveNations and River Indians there were, & how much they since are lessened, so that wee findthat the Inhabitants of the Citty & County of Albany did consist:
