Govern r what members should be thought fitt for hisCouncill to manage the same untill further order from his Ma 4ies King William Whereupon after adue deliberation and consult the following persons were Recommended viz 4 M r Pieter de la Noy M rSamuel Staats, Mr. Hendrick Janzen and M r Johannes Yermelje, for the Citty & County of New-Yorke, Capt. gerardus Beekman for Kings County , M r Samuel Edsall for Queens County , CaptTho s Williams for Westchester County , M r William Lawrence of the County of Orange whomethe Lieu 4 Govern 1- & ca doth accept of and Establish as such and are ordered to take the oath as isprovided by the Law of this Province for qualifying them for the said office: w ch is this dayaccordingly done..
