Abuses, I declare that all the Reasons I have us o to condemn themas Inch, do not appear, to me, strong enough to make me thinkthem preferable to the Authority of those great Persons, who haveapproved and establish ’d them , I only thought, that the Veneration,and Respect, I have for them, ought not to hinder my treatingthese Questions as Problems, upon which, I could heartily wish tohave the Decisions of the Learned, who would give their Judgmenthonestly, without Partiality or Prejudice.
