Level valleys; shallow re-sidual deposits of red orblue clay. Scanty blueclay soil where the lime-stone is nearly hori-zontal, and deeper redclay where they aresteeply inclined.
Low ridges and irregularrounded hills; deep re-sidual deposits of redclay and chert.
Red clay soil with a fewfragments of chert, grad-ing into white or graysoil, composed almostentirely of chert.
