Continuing thus ’till the eighth, they began to despair of feing CaptainFlawes again; And to consider what wasto be done in their miserable Condition.Their Long-boat was not able to carryabove thirty Men, with a Deck uponher, and her Waste raised; They, therefore, determined to lengthen hertwelve Foot, to carry the whole Com-pany : But what with the Want of ma-terials, and the little Confidence theyhad in their Carpenter, this Project waslaid aside. It was then proposed to goby Land towards Weygatz, in Hopes ofmeeting with some Ruffians: But soonafter, to their unspeakable Joy, theyespied Captain Flawes. They immedi-ately made a Fire, which he feing, sentin his Boat, and got them all on Board. The Loss of this Ship having overturnedthe whole Voyage, they returned toge-ther in the Prosperous , and arrived inthe shames , the three and twentieth ofAugust.
