Bees as they are alwayes laboriously painfull, so especiallywhen they have been long shut up and confined by unseasona-ble weather; then upon the first approach os acalmeSun-slii-nie day, doc they rouse themselves up from their ( now loa-thed ) rest ; or on the fall of a honey dew in a wartr.c ar.d mildseason doe they eagerly pursue their delightsull labours. Shallirrational! creatures take the hints of opportunitie,and shall wetrifle them away: Let us be jealous and cautious, of these cree-pings and turnings, these serpentine tricks of the flesh, and theworld,t! at would slay us: Lay hold when thou hast an oppor-tunitie to heare, to read, to pray, Post /ft ucafio ca Iva , makeuse, take the occasion, when God hath led thee to privacy,thou art there where thou maist freely have communion withthy God, slight it not negligently,let it not slip,it is Gods call,doth the Spirit of God whisper us, saying, this is a dutie thoumust doe, and thy conscience doth witnesse with thy spirit, thatDr. Singh- it is so, and thy owns affections (if thou hast any heaven-wardMn.Righteous duty-ward ) doe stirre thee also, let not this wind blow in vainemans plea to over thee, extinguish not the Spirit by neglect, when God of-Rcfse. Jf>PI ferrth thee a hint by his Spirit take it, take that hinr, I fay, aman may doe more in an hourc of prayer, when he hath themotions and the power of the Spirit,when the fore-runner of itis some sweet motion cast into the heart of a man, some sweetecouch of meditation puts him upon duty, oh then if a manwould make use of the sailes of that hint,by that wind he mightdispatch a great voyage of prayer, and returne richly laden.
