These numbers are by the judgement of y' masters thought sufficient in shippsof those burthens to man them, especially upon our own coast, wheare readysupplys may bee had when necessity requireth, although formerly they havebeen allowed at sea 440 men.

The Charge of this Fleet for the whole Yeare may bee this :

For prest, conduct, and presting charges of 240 men, to bee jT. s.

taken at London, and place neere Chatham, at iii*. the man 36 o

For wages of 280 men for 13 moneths one day, at 14s. each 2555 0

For victualls for the same number for the like time of 365

The rigging at the setting forth may bee performed by theordinary shippkeepers.

The second Extraordinary Charge is for Cordage.

The provision of cordage now certified to bee in the store- t. c. q.
