In no part of the creation has the Almighty left himself without a wit-ness ; hut it is in the heavens above that the Divine attributes are most gloriouslydisplayed.

Impressed with a due sense of the importance of the subject, and an unaf-fected humility as regards his endeavour to aid its promulgation, the authorconcludes, as he began, with those indescribably grand and most impressivewords which dignify his title-page :

In the beginning, God made the heaven, and the earth.
