(whichin the Draught appears shutting downward) is raisedsomewhat above the parallel o? the Axis P, and liesready to be taken hold of by an other Pin in the han*ging Beam Q^, which upon the condensation of theSteam, (as described under the letter H) bringsdownthis Shank so far, till the Weight 14 is againll broughtbeyond the Perpendicular of the Axis P, on the otherside, when by its own gravity the faid Weight falis fofar from the cylinder, as the Piece of Leather 16 willpermitt; by which Motion, the shank 4 is again remo-ved from the abovefaid Pin in the Slider,, and theshank 5 brought to strike against it, whereby the Re-gulator is opend, at which Time the Steam having afree Passage out of the Boiler into the Cylinder, andthe Pressure upon the surface of the Water in the Boi-ler being abated, the Buoy in the Pipe H falis,and with itthe Ballance R, and Inceptor7,and the Notch2taking
