The Collins’ Plate was manufactured by the eminentgoldsmiths of New-York, Messrs. Ball, Black & Co., bywhom it was exhibited in London, and is now displayedin the Crystal Palace of New-York. It is entirely com-posed of California gold, and is valued at $5000. Itsworkmanship is highly creditable to the skill and tasteof the manufacturers.
