On a THIRD SEPTENNIAL INVESTIGATION into the affairs of this Company, to the 2®March, 1846, a Bonus, amounting on the average to 31 per cent, on the Premiums paid for the preceding Se vCYears, was assigned to all Policies of at least Three Years’ standing, and effected for the whole duration of $ e 'To similar Policies the following Bonuses were declared at former Divisions, viz. :—
FIRST DIVISION, in 1832. On the average, upwards of 26 per cent, on the Premiums p a '^'SECOND DIVISION, in 1839. On the average, 33 per cent, on the Premiums paid for th epreceding Seven Years.

A RATE OF PREMIUM graduated fairly to the risk at every age. j
A DIVISION OF THE SURPLUS of the Company periodically to the Assured, strictly proporti 011to their interest therein.
A FAIR AND LIBERAL PERMISSION to the Assured to proceed to all parts of the world, ° n ^notice, and the payment of a premium equitably adjusted to the risk incurred.
GENERAL FACILITIES for the taking out, renewal, or purchase of Policies, the honourable se ^ment of Claims, and an exemption from all charges or deductions except for Government Stamps.
The accumulated Capital of the Company actually invested exceeds £650,000.
The Bonuses already allotted to the Assured exceed £210,000.
