or wliicli shall be received in respect of the deposit of any goods to be exhibited, orthe entrance and admission of persons to view the said Exhibition or otherwiserelating thereto, and which shall come to the hands of the said Commissioners herebyincorporated. And We do hereby authorize and appoint the said Commissionershereby incorporated, to proceed in making full and diligent inquiry as to the bestmode by which the productions of Our Colonies and of Foreign Countries may beintroduced into Our Kingdom, and also as respects the most suitable site lor the saidExhibition, and also as to the general conduct of the same, and also into the bestinode of determining the nature of the Prizes, and of securing the most impartialdistribution of them, and We do hereby also give full power and authority to thesaid Commissioners hereby incorporated, to nominate and appoint such severalpersons of ability as they may think fit to be Local Commissioners in such parts ofOur Kingdom and in Foreign parts as they may think fit, to aid them, the saidCommissioners, hereby incorporated in the premises, which said Local Com-missioners or any of them shall and may be removed by the said Commissionershereby incorporated, from time to time, at their will and pleasure, and othersappointed in their places or not as may be thought lit, And We do hereby furthergive and grant to the said Commissioners hereby incorporated, full power andauthority to call before them all such persons as they shall judge necessary, by whomthey may be the better informed of the truth of the matters which may be enquiredinto by the said Commissioners, and also to inquire into all matters relating to thesaid Exhibition, by all other lawful ways and means whatsoever. And We dohereby direct and authorize the said Commissioners hereby incorporated, to carryout and conduct the said Exhibition in the year One thousand eight hundred andfifty-one, and to contract for, erect, and remove any building or buildings relatingto the same, and to distribute Prizes to Exhibitors in all respects as they may thinklit, and to do all matters and things connected with the said distribution of thePrizes aforesaid, as they shall think lit, and to receive and pay all moneys to boreceived as aforesaid or otherwise, and to pay and dispose thereof as they shall direct,and, generally, to do all matters and things that may be necessary or appear to themto be expedient for the conduct of the said Exhibition, distribution of Prizes, and allmatters connected with the said Exhibition and distribution of Prizes. And We dohereby ordain that it shall be lawful for the said Commissioners hereby incorporated,and they shall have full power and authority from time to time to depute or chooseany persons either being Members of the said Corporation or not, or some of whommay be Members and some not, and to give to them all, or any, and such of thepowers and authorities hereby given to the Commissioners hereby incorporated as theyshall think fit to do, all or any of the matters and things hereby authorized to be doneby the said Commissioners hereby incorporated, and which may be necessary h |rconducting or in any manner relate to or concern the said Exhibition : And Wc dohereby order that it shall be lawful for the said Commissioners hereby incorporatedfrom time to time to appoint one or more Secretaries, and such other officers as theymay think fit, and to remove them, and all other persons appointed by them, as they
