A Coolness arises an the Part of the Natives , whichmuch alarms the EnGLISH. This cleared up ,and Friendship restored.- The King requests Fiveof Captain Wilsons Men to attend him to a Warhe was going to make against a neighbouringIsland. This is assented to, and he departswith the Men. The English plan their intend-ed Vessel, form a Dock Tard, unanimously chooseCaptain WILSON to be their Commander , andeach engages in the Department he is nominated to,in order to ajstst the Construclion of their futureVessel. The First Sunday after the Shipwreckduly commemorated.

As all Our countrymens future hopes de* ifgj.pended on their being able to build a ship with augustthe few tools that had been saved from the s mir,!iyAntelope, so, being in expectation of the *'Kings arrival, and well aware how much theseimplements might be coveted by the natives,- andthe difficulties they might be reduced to, eitherby depriving themselves of the use of them, orrilking the displeasure of their new friends, byrefusing their solicitations, it Was thought ex*pedient to secrete th§m from the public view;
