NAZARETH, t. Northampton co. Pa. 7 m.NW. from Eastori, 10 NNE. from Bethlehem ,62 N. from Philadelphia . This is a pleasantand handsome town, regularly built of stone,and contains a celebrated Moravian academy.

NEEDHAM , t. Norfolk co. Mass, on theriver Charles, opposite Newton , 6 m. WNW.Irom Dedham, 12 WSW. from Boston . Pop.1,420. Between this town and Newton theriver has 2 falls; one of 20 feet. These affordmany excellent mill-seats; and on Needham side there are 3 paper-mills, besides othermills.

NELSON, English settlement in N. Ameri.ca, on the W. side of Hudson’s Bay, at themouth of the river Nelson, 250 m. SE. ofChurchhill Fort. It belongs to the Hudson’sBay Company , who carry on a great trade inbeaver and other skins. Lon. 92 3 35' W.; lat.57° r N.

NEPANOSE, t. Lycoming co. Pa. on W.branch of the Susquehannah. Near this townis a remarkable valley.

NEPONSET, a handsome village, partly inMilton and partly in Dorchester, Norfolk co.Mass, on both sides of Neponset river, 6 m. S.from Boston . It has a number of establish-ments, where paper, chocolate, cards, and otherarticles, are manufactured; also fulling-mills,corn-mills, and various others.

NEPONSET, creek of Boston harbor, navi-gable four miles to Milton, for vessels of 150tons.
