37. Gros mir d'Espagne , i. e. the great blackSpanijh Grape, or by some call’d Vigae d'Ali-cant , i. e. the Alicant Grape, brings large Clu-sters, well furnish’d with large Grapes fit forthe Tablej from this Grape is made the mostexcellent Spanijh Wine.'
38. Le Sanmoireau is a black Grape excellentfor eating and making of Wine. The Grapeis longilh, firm, and grows free upon theBunches.
39. The Frementeau Grape is of a reddish,grey Colour} its Bunches pretty large, and itsGrapes or Berries closely set together. ThqSkin of this Fruit is a little hard, but its Juiceexcellent} ’tis of this Grape is made that excel-lent Wine call’d Stilery Wine, or Vin de Sil-lery.
40. Blanquet de Lemois is a white transparentGrape, as clear as Glass} the Berry is long andpretty large} it bears well, and has an excellentrich Juice.
41. La Malvoifie , i. e. the Malmsey Grape,is of a grey Colour, bears well} its Berry small,but extreamly rich and high flavour’d: It ripensearly, and is so full of Juice, that I esteem it themost melting of all Grapes.
42.. Malvoifie rouge. i. e. the red MalmseyGrape, is of a flame Colour, and has the fameQualities with the former.
43. Malvoifie blanc , i. e. the white Malm-sey Grape, is a more rare, but a later Grapethan the other two. I esteem the grey sort tobe the best.
44. Le Maroquin , is a large blue Grape,which brings Bunches of an extraordinary Size,and its Berries very large, round and hard} theWood is reddish, and the Leave§ vein’d with
