As it would, when compiled,if I rightly apprehend, make up, at least,four Volumes in Folio; which, with theCopper Plates neceflary for the Explanationof the Instruments and Materials, wouldamount to more than two hundred andfifty Sheets ; and, if printed, how couldit be vended to any Profit, especially whenso very few of the Operators are able topurchase such a Performance ? .

6 thly, Were all these Difficulties re-moved, and the Undertaking encouraged,either by the Government, Parliament,private Persons, Proprietors, or in whatother Manner soever : Where is the Man,at this Time; that is sufficiently qualifiedfor it ? Who cart stand the Test, dr gothrough with the Examination requisite, toprove his Abilities sufficient for the Design ?For these must needs be a sufficient Satis-faction given, before any one should beintrusted in such an important Work, orbe permitted to usher it into the World.What Mischief would it not occasion, ifan unfaithful or an unskilful Person shouldbe employed in it ? And what Mortifica-tion and Disappointment would it not beto all who are desirous to promote theGood of this Country ?
