4. That upon default of apparance, the defaultersmay be compelled to appear by Distresse :and how those Pistresses ought tobe taken.

But in this cafe theWerderers max chuse, if thep will, whether that thexWill so estreat the said amercements upon the defaul-ters prefentlp bp distreffe, as is aforesaid, or else to cer-tiste those defaults in their Nolls before the Justices ofthe Forest, and then the Justices of the Forest Willcause w'its to be made out to the chief Warden of theForest, o? to the sheriff of the Ahire where st,ch de-faulters do dwell, to lebp those said amercements bxdistreffe> 0? else the Werderers if tdep fofl! map certifiethose defaults into the Court of Exchequer before theBarons of the said Court of Exchequer, and thenEst 3 thereupon
