Beils. —There shall be two bells, one in a brass and the other in a cast-iron belfry, with ship’s name engraved thereon.
Flags .—One Barque, one Union Jack, one Blue Peter, one Company’sflag, and a full code of signals, with books, all fitted in lockers.
Accommodation ladders. — One on each side, with platform davits andfittings complete; these and all other ladders to be of teak.
Guns. —There shall be two 9-pounder guns, with 2 ports forward and 2 aft.
Cement. —The vessel to be coated with approved composition inside, andan approved paint Outside.
Painting. —All the iron work to receive two coats of red lead, or otherapproved paint. The outside to have other two coats, as the superintendentsmay approve. All wood work, where not grained and varnished, to receivefour coats of paint, or if grained to have two coats of paint besides varnish.
Lamps. —The set of Admiralty signal lamps, three globe hold lanterns,cook’s lanterns, and two forecastle lamps. Also proper lamps for saloonand cabins throughout ship.
Life buoys .—Four buoys with ship’s name on each, and four cork fenders.
Tarpaulings. —Two tarpaulings for each cargo hatch, covers for wheelbinnacles, Skylights , and boats.
Cooper’s Stores. —1 dozen deck buckets, 1 dozen fire buckets, 1 dozenmess kids, 4 harness casks, 2 steep tubs, with galvanized iron hoops.
