Thefe eftabiilhments keep three hundred and feventy-three hammers at work; Inaddition to thefe are twelve others of no great confequence, the hammers iri which orproduce are not marked.
It is to be obferved, that this ftatement accounts for no more than fuch iron as isbrought for fhipment to Stockholm ; to this amount, therefore, will be to be addedthat of the fhipments from other ports, as Gefle, Gottenburg, &c. and that of the fol-lowing tables.
Ncle. The quantity of iron defignated is that which is allowed to be forged, the pro-prietors, owing to a fcarcity of wood and coal, not being allowed to exceed the limitedquantity. With refpefl; to Heel there are not the lame preferiptions, wherefore thequantity wrought will not be conflantly the fame as that infected in the table.
