These 5 rounds were fired on the river, and observed asbefore.
The Gun was n° 3, and its elevation 15 degrees.
The balls were not good ones, and the ranges very irre-gular and the medium 5600 feet, or 1867 yards, too low ;perhaps owing to the lightness of the balls.
