Les fabricantsrecommandent donc ce semoir, en toute confiance, auxmaisons d’exportation, comme le premier essai fait jusqu’icipour présenter un semoir à engrais a un prix aussi modéré,et néanmoins possédant tous les avantages voulus. >

rows from 20 to 21 inches apart, and three rows at 15 inchesapart, or any other spaces that may be specified for withthe order; and the quantities may be delivered as required—say, for turnips 1 to 6 lbs. per acre, and beet-seed 3 to8 lbs. per acre. The manure may be regulated as required,from 2 to 12 bushels per acre. The drill is draught of ahorse or pony, and, being only 3 feet 8 inches high, 4 feetwide, and only weighing 3 cwt., will be found most con-venient and easy of management. On farms where smallquantities of roots are grown, and for exportation, its cheap-ness (the first cost not being more than half the price ofany manure Drill hitherto offered) and compactness mustrecommend it to general notice. To shippers it will provea great desideratum, not only in consequence of the smallcompass into which it can be packed, but its constructionis so simple that it cannot fail to be readily understood byagricultural workmen abroad. As a first attempt at intro-ducing a drill for depositing manure at such a reduced priceto meet the increasing requirements of the farmer, themanufacturers respectfully submit it, with every confidenceto their notice. *
