Suffruticosa, diffusa, pubescens, f. 2—3-jugis, foliolis obovato-oblongis emarginatis,subt. lanuginosis, supra appresse pilosis, fl. axillarib. paucis subsessilib., calyce campa-nulato lanuginoso, laciniis filiformibus acutis, vexillo obovato pubescente purpureo, alislin-lanceolatis glabris purpureis, carina obtusa glabra, lutea leguminibus erecto patulis,ap. arcuatis, subcylindricis lanuginosis, seminib. obtuse quadrangularibus, fulvis, punctisnigris adspersis nitidiusculis.

Hab. in insulis S. Vincentii, Maji, S. Antonii. — Observatio : Tephrosia appolineaDC.ab anthylloidi differt, pilis pauciorib. omnino adpressis, leguminibus suis magis com-pressis et florum colore.
