For compensation to the clerks in the office of the treasurer of theUnited States , per act of twentieth April, one thousand eight hundredand eighteen, five thousand two hundred and fifty dollars.

For compensation to the clerks in said office, per act of twenty-sixthMay, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-four, one thousand twohundred dollars.

For compensation to the messenger in said office, in full of all allow-ances, seven hundred dollars.

For compensation to the register of the treasury, three thousand dol-lars.

For compensation to the clerks in the office of the register of thetreasury, per act of the twentieth April, one thousand eight hundred andeighteen, twenty-two thousand three hundred and fifty dollars; and, also,for additional salary of four clerks, per act of second March, one thou-sand eight hundred and twenty-seven, eight hundred dollars.

For compensation to the messengers in said office, including the al-lowance for stamping ships’ registers, in full of all allowances, one thou-sand one hundred and fifty dollars.

For compensation to the commissioner of the general land office,three thousand dollars.

For compensation to the clerks in the general land office, per act ofsecond March, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-seven, nineteenthousand four hundred and fifty dollars.

For compensation to the messengers in said office,in full of all allow-ances, one thousand and fifty dollars.

For compensation to the secretary of the commissioners of the sink-ing fund, two hundred and fifty dollars.

For allowances to the person employed in transmitting passports andsea letters; for expenses of translating foreign languages in the office ofthe Secretary of the Treasury; for stationery, fuel, printing, books, andall other incidental and contingent expenses in the Treasury Department and the several offices therein, including the expenses of stating andprinting the public accounts for the year one thousand eight hundred andtwenty-eight, and for advertising notices in relation to the reimburse-ment of certain portions of the public debt, thirty-four thousand fivehundred and fitly dollars.

For allowance to the superintendent and four watchmen, employedfor the security of the state and treasury buildings: and for the repairsof engines, hose, and buckets, one thousand nine hundred dollars.

For compensation to the Secretary of War, six thousand dollars.

For compensation to the clerks in the office of the Secretary of War,per act of twentieth April, one thousand eight hundred and eighteen,twenty-two thousand six hundred dollars.

For one clerk in the bureau of Indian affairs, per act of second March,one thousand eight hundred and twenty-seven, one thousand dollars.

For compensation to the messengers in said office, in full of all allow-ances, one thousand and fifty dollars.

For contingent expenses of the office of the Secretary of War, threethousand dollars.
