Gymnorhina. Chilonycteris has been increased with one species by Gray.Ch. fuliginosus:supra fuliginosus, fusco-tinctus, subtus fuscescens, gulafemoribusque ad basin rufescentibus; auribus elongatis, attenuatis, acutis.From Hayti. (Ann. of Nat. Hist, xiii, p. 68.) There likewise, Gray hasgiven further illustrations of his genus Phyllodia, and characterized the onlyknown species thus: Ph. Parnelii; auribus magnis subacutis; vellerecinerascenti-fusco, pilis ad apicem obscurioribus. From Jamaica .

(4)Rh. philippinensis, Wat., is nearly related to Rh. eurysotis, but differs there-from in the much larger size of the accessory ear-lobe and the truncatedform of the most anterior of the nasal laminrn.
