Of the Primitive Chaos andCreation of the World .
I N the former Edition of this Treatisethis Discourse concerning the Primi-tive Chaos and Creation of the World,and that other concerning the Destru-ction thereof by the Waters of the Generalpelnge, in the days of Noah , were broughtin by way of Digression ; because I design-ed not at first to treat of them, but only ofthe Conflagration or Dijfolution of the Worldby Fire ; but was afterwards, when I hadmade a considerable progress in the Dijsoluti-at the instance of some Friends, because°f their Relation to my Subject, prevailedy pon to fay something of them.
