But though the country may be considered asrescued from that total ruin their measures werecalculat ed (1 had almost said intended) to bring uponher, yet, by the circulating- medium being cut up,the ports open for piece-goods from all parts of theworld of every description, and by giving the rawmaterials o i' cotton and wool, as they come from ourmagical machines, to be fabricated bv European andAsiatic weavers, who can live comfortably on one tofour pence per day, like blood hounds, they stillpursue the poor million of operatives, in order thatthey may find no rest until they arrive in the woodsof Upper Canada; % the only means they have leftby which they can bring their reciprocity to a per-manent bearing.

To the two articles I have before given to shewthat the trade are all of my opinion if they were atliberty to speak their minds, I will add another publicdocument, that if any thing more is necessary,(though I have plenty of such like in reserve) I thinkthis will be sufficient.
