To find the suns declination, andthence the parallel of latitude cor-responding therewith, upon theterrestrial globe.

Find the funs place upon the broadpaper circle for any given day, art. 98. andseek that place in the ecliptic line upon theglobe ; this will strew the parallel of thefuns declination among the dotted lines,which is also the corresponding parallel oflatitude; therefore all those places throughwhich this parallel passes, have the fun intheir zenith at noon on the given day.
