GENERIC CHARACTER.

Antennae taper from the base. Wings, in general,, contracted,"d*en at rest. Fly by night.

SPECIFIC CHARACTER.

Antennae of the Male feathered. Wings dark brown, with abright yellow bar across each, and a strong white spot on the centervf each superior wing.—Female marked like the Male, but of a palerc °lour.
