Since my remarks upon this species were printed,of which I had no other knowledge than was derivedfrom a drawing made in the East Indies, Mr. Lamberthas kindly communicated specimens received by himfrom Dr. Wallich. It proves, notwithstanding itsapparent resemblance to R. bracteata, to be morenearly allied to R. sericea, to the vicinity of which itmust be transferred.

A curious stunted variety of R. rubiginosa , foundby Pallas growing in the mountainous part of Tauria.Its branches are slightly setigerous and its leavessmall and round, like those of R. myriacantha.
