INTRODUCTION.
It is hoped that arrangements may he made to place these collec-tions in such a situation as may allow of their being consulted bymanufacturers and the public of the countries to which they aresent, and that they may be of some little practical use, but in anycase they will be accepted both by the Government and the publicof those countries as one more small mark of the good will of HerMajesty’s Commissioners and the exhibitors of Great Britain totheir friends and competitors in the Exhibition of the Works ofIndustry of all Nations of 1851.
