Very rare on the rocky slopes above RocchettaNervina under Monte Terca. Monsieur Bumat “ Floredes Alpes-Maritimes, vol. I, p. 127” says that thisplant is not mentioned as growing in Liguria to theeast of the Roja. I have seen it, however, abundantlyon Caprazoppa near Finalmarina, and last year it wasfound by Herr Kurt Dinter between Libri above theRoja valley and Rocce Forquin. — May-June.

Euphrasia Bicknelli Wettstein
This Euphrasia growing near the mouth of theNervia on the right bank, and under the chestnutsnear Isolabona and on the road to Gola di Gota, is,according to Prof. R. von Wettstein, a new species,and one whose existence he had' long suspected. Itis closely allied to E. tatarica Fisch. and stands in thesame relation to it as E. montana to E. Rostkoviana,
