Heavy Sash-Clamping Machine.

With Movable Corners.

The machine shown herewith is made of iron, and intended for clampingall kinds of sash, and is a machine that will always he found reliable.

It is made with heavy plate sides and girts. On the top are placed twoheavy rails, in which are mounted the corner bars for holding the sash. Theseare pivoted to traveling plates, through which pass a right and left-hand screw,by which each corner can be moved an exact distance from the center, and atthe same time remain in a rigid fixed position.

When it is set square for one size it always remains perfectly square, andwill work all sizes, and is not easily disarranged. Odd sizes of sash can beclamped almost as quickly as regular sizes. It is quickly adjusted, and whenready a pressure of the foot upon the treadle is all that is necessary to instantlysecure and clamp the sash.

It is a heavy, substantial machine, carefully fitted and always ready for use./fhe pressure upon the sides and corners is simultaneous, but they can be madeindependent of each other, if desired. Its capacity is to work sash up to 3' 10"x5', and down to 12" square.
