La Grande M'daille fut décernée a cette machine par le Jurya V Exposition Universelle de Londres en 1851.

Cette machine est construite avec le tambour et concavebrevetés de Messrs. R. Garrett et Fils, et est adaptéepour battre toute espèce de graine sans endommager legrain ou la paille. Elle est garnie des appareils brevetés âcribler et à secouer la paille pour séparer toutes les paillescourtes du blé. Elle peut fonctionner avec la machine àvapeur portative de six chevaux, et a une poulie motricesur trait du tambour, pour courroie plate ou ronde àvolonté.

Cette machine remporta le Prix de 500 fr. a la Reunion de laSociété Royale (V Agriculture, à Lewes , en juillet , 1852, etla Médaille a Gloucester en 1853.

Cette machine est de la même construction que la pré-cédente 50 e, mais elle a, outre l’appareil H cribler etsecouer, un appareil vanneur perfectionné pour séparer leblé de ]a paille, et laisser le grain assez propre pour qu’ilpuisse être mis en vente avec un seul dressage. Elle peutfonctionner avec la machine à vapeur portative de septchevaux, et est garnie d’une poulie motrice sur trait dutambour pour courroie plate ou ronde à volonté.

Four-Horse Bolting Thrashing Power, No. 50 c.

This thrashing power is constructed with R. G. and Son’spatent drum and concave, and is adapted for thrashing allkinds of corn without injuring the grain or straw. It maybe driven with advantage by R. G. and Son’s portableSteam Engine of 4-horse power. The Machine is fittedwith driving pulley in drum shaft, for flat or round strap,as preferred.

It is fitted with driving pulleyin the drum shaft for fiat or round belt, as preferred, andadapted to be driven by R. G. and Son’s five-horse portableSteam Engine.

The Council Medal of the Exhibition of Industry of AllNations in 1851 was awarded to this Machine.

This Machine is constructed with R. G. and Son’s patentdrum and coucave, and adapted for thrashing all kinds ofcorn without injuring the grain or straw. It is fitted withR. G. and Son’s registered straw-shaker and patent screen,for the purpose of separating from the corn and chaff allloose and short straws. It is calculated to be driven byR. G. and Son’s six-horse portable Engine, and is fittedwith pulley on drum shaft, for either flat or round belt.

The Prize of £20 was awarded to R. G. and Son for thisMachine at the Royal Agricultural Society's Meeting atLewes , July, 1852, and the Prize Medal at the Royal Agri-cultural Society’s Meeting at Gloucester, 1853.

This Machine is on the same construction as No. 50 e,but fitted, in addition to the straw-shaker and screen, withan improved winnowing apparatus for separating the cornfrom the chaff, leaving it so nearly clean that once passingit through the finishing dressing machine will render it fitfor market. It is adapted to be driven by R. G. and Son’sseven-horsepower portable Steam Engine, and is sent fittedwith driving pulley on drum shaft, for either flat or roundbelt.
