ficient Shipping, and' Furniture for" their Transportation, so that none of" the same Persons, nor any of them>" be such as hereafter shall be -special-if ly restrained by Us, Our Heirs, and" Successors, And farther, that he the" said Humphry, his Heirs and Assigns,fC and every or any of them, ssall have*" hold, occupy and enjoy to him, his" Heirs or Assigns, and every of them,<r for ever, all the Soil, of all such" Lands, Countries and Territories, so" to be discovered or possessed, as" aforesaid, and of all Cities, Castles," Towns and Villages, and Places in" the fame, with the Rights, Royal-" ties and Jurisdictions, as well marine," as other, within the said Lands or" Countries of the Seas thereunto ad-" joyning, to be had or used, with full" Power to dispose thereof, and of e-" very Part thereof, in Fee simple, or" otherwise, according to the Order of" the Laws of England, as near as the“ fame conveniently may be, at his" and their Will and Pleasure, to any" Person then being, or that shall re-" main within the Allegiance of Us," Our Heirs and Successors, paying un-" to Us, for all Services, Duties and,e Demands, the fifth Part of all the" Ore of Gold and Silver, that fromtf Time to Time, and at all Times,* r after such Discovery, subduing and* c possessng, shall be there gotten. “ Hundred Leagues, near to the Place" or.Places within, such Countries as" aforesaid, if they ssall not be before“ planted or inhabited, within the Li-" mits aforesaid, with the Subjects of“ any Christian Prince, being in Amity" with Her Majesty, where the said" Sir Humphry , his Heirs, or Assigns," or any of them, or his or their, or" any of their Associates or Companies," ssall, wihtin six Years next ensuing," make their Dwellings and A hidings," or that. ssall enterprise or attempt, at“ anyTime, hereafter unlawfully to an-" noy, either by Sea or Land, the said" Sir Humphry, his Heirs or Assigns, or" any of them, or his or their, or any" of their Companies. Giving and“ granting, by these Presents, farther" Power and Authority, to the said Sir" Humphry, his Heirs and Assigns, and" every of them, from Time to Time," and at all Times, for ever, hereafter," to take and surprize, by all Manner" of means, whatsoever, all and every" Person and Persons, with their Ships," Vessels, and other Goods and Furni-" ture, which, without the.Licence of" the said Sir Humphry , or his Heirs" or Assigns, as aforesaid, ssall be. " found trafficking, into any Harbour" or Harbours, Creek or Creeks, with-" in the Limits aforesaid (the Subjects-" of Our Realms and Dominions, andtc all other Persons in Amity with Us," being driven by Force of Tempest or" Shipwreck, only excepted) and those" Persons, and every of them, with" their Ships, Vessels, Goods and Fur-" niture, to detain and possess, as of" good and lawful Prizes, according ta" the Discretion of him, the said Sir" Humphry, his Heirs and Assigns, and" of every or any of them.
