He appointed his fuccelfors in theBilhopric, to be Patrons and Vifitors of the Col­ lege , with the appointment of Mailer, and be-queathed, by his Will, 300 Marks, viz. to build aHall, and 100 for a Court.—The Charter of In-corporation is dated 13th Edward I. Anno 1285.The Bifhop died in the year 12S6, having fat inthe See of Ely twenty-eight years.

Name.] —This College takes its name from St.Peter’s Church, which adjoined it; but the Chan-cel falling down in 1350, it was rebuilt in 1352,and dedicated to St. Mary the Lefs.
