Bracket Sand-Papering Machine.

With Flexible Arms and Adjustable Disk.

This machine may he hung to either a wall or post. It is adapted to the surfacepolishing of doors, sash, blinds, etc., after they are put together. It may also he usedin wagon, agricultural, and other shops on work of a similar character.

The driving shaft is placed vertically with the tight and loose pulleys at thetop, or they may be run through the floor and belted from below. The flexibleframe is hung upon the bearings of the upright shaft. It is made with elbowjoints, and is movable in all directions. The polishing disk will traverse the entiresurface of a door 8' long, after it has been once placed in position on the table.

The table is left for purchasers to supply, of such dimensions as they maydesire. The sand-paper cylinder is vertically adjustable to suit different thick-nesses, and supplied with a spring handle for regulating the pressure on the sur-face of the lumber. A fan is attached to the disk for removing the dust.

The tight and loose pulleys are 8"x4", and should make GOO revolutions.
