For 3 Days together, Morningand Evening, they must take oneof thePapers of Powder mark’d wich A, Diluted wirb half a Glaß ofWine andasmuch Water,to dispose them by Dfgrees for Purging, and to Sweeten andcorrect the sliarp Corrosive Humours, which areof the Nature of Aquafortis,and the Sftrit of Nitre, and which eat away the Tunicles of the Inteßines,and the Mouths of the Vessels; from whence it comes to paß, that from asingle Looseneßthey osten fall into a Djfenterp, because those deprav'd Hu-mours become (harp and Corrosive, and the Malady augments every Dayso that to malte a füre Cure, wemust begin by destroying the Sharpneß andMalignity of thole Humours, which is done by this first Remedy.

A. R. Anttm. Diapb. Crabs Eyes, ofcachgr. i o.Croc. Martis, gr. 8. Mace ,gr. 4. He must eat (hall Broth 2 Hours aster, or a Crust of Bread dipt init, or a fresti Egg in fafhion of an Ammulet, and Dine lightly; if theyfind they have need of Nourifliment, aster Dinner they may eat a Toast andWine and Sugar, or a little Bisket steept in Water or Wine. At Night theymay take another Paper markt A, as before, and Sup lightly.

The 4 tb. Day they must take the Dose markt B. R. Of good Ipecacuanha,well pulveris’d, -y. with $vj. of Cinamm, diluted in (mall Broth, or in half aGlaß ofWine, toclear theStomach ofa Viscid Bilc, thatweakens the Na-tural Heat, and hinders the Digestion of the Food ; so that the Chyle grow-ing sour, instead of growing better, does change all the Maß of the Blood,and trouble the whole Oeconomy of the Body, which produces all the Ac-cidents which ordinarily accompany this Diftase. They (hall take, 4 Hoursafter, some Broth, and the remainder of the Day eat (paringly ; the Day as-ter they (hall take 2 Papers markt A, as before.

The 7 tb. Day they (hall take the Medicine markt C. R. Good Rubarh,9 ij. Ipecacuanha gr. xv. Pulverisc them well, and mix them in a Glaß of PtifanD, describ’d hereafter. This Medicine will take away part of the Obstru-ctions j they (hall take 2 Hours after, Broth.

The 9<A Day they (hall take the Dose markt B 2. R. Good Ipecacuanha9 ij. with Cinamon gr. vj. well Pulverised, and mixt with Broth orWine.

The 11 tb. Day they must take a 2d Medicine markt C, and observe thefame Regimen as at first.

On the i zr-ö. they must take the Dose markt B 3. R. Good Ipecacuanha9 j. half a 5 of Cinamon , with vi gr. of Nutmeg, and observe the seine Diet ason the two others.

On the 1 $tb. they (hall take the Dose markt B 4. R. Good Ipecacuan-ha 9 j. with Nutmeg gr. x. well pulverised. They must keep theniselves ason the 3 former Days.

Tho’ by this time they find themselves Cur’d, yet they must take Carethat they suffr not Cold in their Feet, nor elfewhere, while the Distcm-per continues ; and they must yet observe as strict a Diet as if they wereSick.They must Purge once in 15 Days with the Medicine markt C, by which
