TheMailer, the Profeflors, and three of the Fel-lows, are already appointed: thirteen otherFellows are to be chofen when the College isbuilt.

The Univerlity, as compofed of a Chan-cellor, the Mailers, or Heads, and Fellowsof the College, and the Students, amount-ing, in the whole, to near two thoufand, isincorporated as a Society, for the lludy of allthe liberal Arts and Sciences. Each College,or Hall, is a body of itfelf not only boundby internal regulations, but alfo controuled bythe paramount law of the Univerlity: eachfurnilhes Members for the government of thewhole, which is adminillered by a Chancel-lor, High-Steward, Vice-Chancellor, Proc-tors, Caput , &c.

James I , granted the Univerfity the privi-lege of fending two Members to Parliament .
